Well, I can't say I've experienced much stupidity on dA personally very much, but in this particular case, I'm sure not one bit amused by it. It just so happens that I was reading something I found amusing, and I say this, and here comes this pedantic loser trying to start a long, tedious discussion on the comment page, and so far, I've seen way too manyo f those around already and sure wasn't interested in participating in one.

I can never figure out why people like starting this in the comment section, but appearently, nobody's aware notes are there so you can talk to other people in private without spamming anybody's comment section, especially when you're going to talk about something most people don't care to hear or care to get involved in. Funny, this didn't even have anything to do with Nazis, either.

Enough of the shit already. Ift's fine if you have your own opinions, but if your opinion is so lousy, you might as well just keep it to yourself. It's people like this who really make me think about quitting dA, but then again, that'd probably have them so happy, so I'd rather not leave.

(NOTE: They seriously need to ban stupidity over there. The only problem is, the moderators are idiots themselves, so that's not about to happen, is it?)

That's the thing I find really, really sad.

YouTube is sorta the same (AND NEOPETS. DON'T MAKE ME MENTION NEOPETS. I quit that site years ago, decided to come back to fight spam and n00bs, somehow managed to avoid getting warned, returned again in two years, did the same thing, came back last year, went 'SCREW THIS' and disappeared off the face of the planet I think the last straw was me returning for the final time to find they had banned the use of 'damn' and 'hell' which makes at least half my RP characters on there obsolete) I remember writing this on a friend's profile:
"Mental note: To become popular on YouTube, post animé and MUGEN."
Funnily enough, I am slightly popular. This is mostly because of one small video of a demo of a Pokémon hack I once did. ¬_¬; (No, seriously. It has >18,000 views, as opposed to all my other videos which have only 2-3,000 views, 6000 if I'm lucky, and <500 for all my new videos)
Another great thing about YouTube. Even though I have stated at least 20 times, in my profile, video comments and video information about how to do the hack, why you can't download it at the moment etc., I get loads of PMs and comments asking questions I've already answered.

Also, I have this as my channel background, and even though I have a half-page rant on my profile about how it is impossible for me to be a Nazi, I have had at least 2 people call me a neo-Nazi. Mmm, stupidity.
I also kept my user avatar as a blatantly obvious Nazi plane, just for kicks.

But yeah, there are a lot of stupid people on YouTube. My friend once had an issue with a girl who made a bulletin every few minutes telling what she was doing. Seriously. She'd make a bulletin saying "I'm going to take a shower. Be right back." She spent her ENTIRE LIFE on YouTube. When my friend blocked her, she started making bulletins all over the place saying "OMG WHY DID [USERNAME] BLOCK MEEEE!?" and had her minions come and call her a bitch.

And THEN there was the incident with the white girl from Australia who typed in ebonics. I can't remember what exactly she was mad about, but I defended my friend and she ended up coming over to my page and saying something like "IF UR BLACK AND ARE RACIST AGAINST WHITES OR SOMETHING, SHUT UP". Then I told her that a teenage white girl rapping was totally lame and she said "NUUUU, PEOPLE THINK IT'S CUTE!!" Cute? CUTE!? Since when was rapping cute? Seriously.

Mhhhmmm....This is Why I left DA. Now all I have to do is finish scrapping these cancer cells off my brain...but hey, Stupid people deserve some spotlight, I mean if there were NO stupid people then there would be NO ONE or NOTHING to laugh/rant at or about

I'm not sure about youtube but I have a youtube account and I have seen some pretty stupid stuff but i've really never been involved in anything much. I can't even go to youtube because of slow ass dial-up now.

I've been seeing some seriously half-assed art on dA's front page lately, and I think it's just sad. There have been occasions where I've seen good (original) art, but not so much any more. Now, in addition to the usual fanart (anime, in most cases), they're putting up sketches and other works that hardly show effort and/or are obviously unfinished. I can't really think of any other explanation for why they'd put that up to showcase except that those people must be good friends with moderators.

Hmmmmm... Come to think of it, I've sure been with all these slobbering super-fans, illiterate chatspeakers, and all the rest of them for a pretty long time, eh? Sure have, and it really isn't doing me any good either.Don't thik I'm going to be very active there any more.

If I keep staying active there, it's probably going to give me a tumor someday.

I had DA accounts two times... both times I wound up leaving because of retarded high school dramas with friends on there. On top of that, I don't like what they're doing with the merchandise and paid account options, or the attitude of the people in charge. It's getting harder and harder to find art sites that can give out serious critique but still be fun social places. If I could find a good site like that I'd be on it in a shot.

Maybe we should start our own no-profit, no-rules, pro-critique art site as a spinoff from the forum.

I'm not sick of DA yet... Mainly because I think I still suck so like... I don't feel overlooked or anything because there's nothing to overlook.

I've been contemplating leaving ever since that bullshit about allowing tracing came up and it's suddenly all ok now, even though it states in their FAQ section that IT'S ILLEGAL.

All in all, I think my main reason for staying is for my friends and for watching other artists. I really hate that site sometimes. Especially the retarded users.
