I usually don't like discussing music since I'm all hit with a shitstorm of pretencious "MY MYUSEEK IS BETTER THAN YOOOOURS" debate.

But I'm liking most of what I read here so far.

So... uh...

Favourite Genre overall: Probably thrash metal. But I also like industrial metal, heavy metal in general, hard thrash rock, symphonic metal (ie metal with orchestra backing) and also classic rock and Australian pub rock

Specific bands: Well... it kind of changes all the time. Buuut....
Arch Enemy (FUCKING AWESOME. Only female lead singer I've ever liked/admired), AC-DC, Billy Talent (well... until they were on MTV

), Cold Chisel, Die Arzte (I love these guys. Srsly.), Dir en grey, DVDA, Fear Factory, Flogging Molly, Gazette, Iron Maiden, Lamb of God, Megadeth, Metallica (esp. S&M GOD YES), Miyavi, MUCC, Reverend Horton Heat (sdghjkdfhj kind of my friend's fault), Rob Zombie, Rolling Stones, Rush, Slayer, Soil Work, Static X, Styx, Supertramp, The Who.
