I want to be a movie buff but I can never be bothered to put that much effort into finding stuff beyond the big releases.

I don't really have a specific genre I'm into so I'll just throw out a list of titles.
-Quadrophenia
-Dogma
-Schindler's List (SO depressing. But so good)
-Doctor Zhivago
-The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
-Rocky Horror Picture Show (I'm so higbrow

)
-Cabaret
-Goodbye Lenin (Berlin Wall=other historical fixation, best movie ever

)
-Pretty much anything directed by David Lean (except Blithe Spirit, that was tacky). Yay for British stiff-upper-lip war/postwar kitchen sink drama!
I have yet to watch A Clockwork Orange all the way through. And I still need to see The Producers.

Somebody reccommend me some movies, my list is tiny. I could probably think of more, but those are the ones I own.
Intending to see Cloverfield in the cinema soon, on the reccomendation of a friend. And I think I'll probably go see Sweeny Todd with my mother even though musicals tend to be cringe-inducing.
(Der Untergang is awesome. Stop listing it in the TV schedule as Downfall fgts, give it its proper title. Just because English people flip a shit if they have to read a foreign word.

And if you tire of the heavy historical angst, tune out and lol at the drunken underground Nazi rave.
