Yes I do, it is so boring here, I rarely do ANYTHING in the summers, plus that it's just too hot for anything, even sleep. I wish it was over but I despise going back to school.

I hate summer too

the warmth is killing me. it's so hot that I am not even in the mood to go to the sea. it's so far away and the buses are crowded with millions of people. old, fat, sweaty people and I wake up at 5 a.m. due to the warmth. I hate it. I wish I live somewhere in Scandinavia. Iceland would be fantastic. I'm a winter person.

Oh, did I mention I hate summer? >_<

You don't want to live near the sea. I live by the sea and on hot days the seaweed and dead fish pile up and rot on the shoreline and you can smell it half a mile inland.

Also, seagulls breed about now and there are five families with screamy babies out the back of my block of flats. They wake up at four in the morning because it's warm.

But in the winter, it pours with rain for solid days and we have to help the old people bail out their flooded driveways so they can go out to get food. So you can't win here. :B

well, I do live in a town by the sea, but thankfully, I am not so close to the sea really. so I am not affected by all those sea smells and seagulls. but then again, I need to drive with old, fat, sweaty people in busses if I do want to go to swim. I just hate the warm weather. I am not in the mood for anything and I just lay around the house, being lazier even than my cat

In my part of the South this summer, 105 degrees has just been a normal day. We can't go to the coast because of all the rednecks, and we can't go to the mountains because it rains all the time and there's nothing to do. We're stuck in the middle.
