Does it not make you mad when you get a brand new shiny mp3/I-pod and you come home to find out it does not work? you take it back ,get another, it doesn't work either, you take that one back get another one and then have to call customer service to get it to work? well, when i first got my Siren (shitty brand) Mp3, I had to go through 3, THREE just to get a good one, i mean..wtf, this was long ago, but, faulty devices?! the one i have is okay now, though, but still. That annoys me to no end. Don't you hate it when you get a faulty device? and then have to run out two times just to get a good one

I should have gotten a full refund and got to keep that one for free since i was ripped two times.

I still have a CD player (rotfl). But that seems to happen a lot with me and headphones. Some headphones simply don't work with my CD player, but I don't know which ones until I try it.

There's also an issue with FINDING CD player headphones in the FIRST place. It's like companies assume that everyone can afford one of those fancy, $400 iPod things.

I has a CD player too and two mp3's my first mp3 (perferrably cheaper one) was probably 30$, only holds a few songs and doesn't have that good quality, my other mp3 (the one mentioned above) was $125-120, not that much, and I kinda like it now, it records, goes on live radio, records from the radio, holds over 1,920+ songs, i saw an I-pod there that costed more then the mp3 and only held 500 songs. I-pods are cheap, and break easily. you see how flimsy looking they are. it still annoys me that i had to go through 3 of the same model to get a working one.

only reason why the I-pod was more expensive is because I-pods are the biggest fad EVAAAARR (along with Mp3 cellphones which i think are SUCK and unneeded.) and everyone has to get one to be cool. MP3's are better in my opinion (also, mp4s are not bad) sometimes i think CD players can be better because you never risk the chance of a CD losing it's memory, but CDs can get scratched. everything has its ups and downs C:

i've had an iPod since the beginning of their time. well. since the beginning of their second generation...and sometimes it can be faulty but its never given me much problems...

some mp3 players that are cheaper then iPods are shit. Zune(?) is a good one and they are almost half the price of an iPod..and there is another popular kind that i cannot think of the name of right now err....

My mp3 hasn't given my problems anymore, I think thats over with. also, do you mean kadjeet? or however its spelled, wait, i think thats a cellphone NVM.

Can anyone tell me which they think is the best value? I'm talking up to maybe $150.

I finally have too many CDs to lug around. Having an MP3 player would be a lot more convenient.

Lol i'd send you my cheap MP3, the first mp3 i ever got Id try to send it anyway, (I have to write and send a letter to germany, send off a package, and im slooooow at sending stuff, especially if its out of the country huurrr....but even if it was in the U.S. it'd still be abit slow) i have no use for it anymore. It only holds so many songs though. (not much)

I have an iPod Shuffle v2 now but before that I went through two Oregon Scientifics...never get one, they're horrible. The first one froze up when my brother touched it, the second one froze up when my brother yelled into it and the people at the store couldn't turn it back on ;) Also when I was in Bali one of my friends had one and it would also freeze up at random intervals and create corrupt files

I want an iPod... But I've decided to buy those BAT SHIT EXPENSIVE boots I've been drooling over instead. I've stolen my sister's mp3 player, I won't die.

I wanted an iPod too... Only for the size, though. My CREATIVE MP3 player has 1 GB of space and it's full now so if I want to add new songs, I have to take out some old ones.

But yes, that IS annoying. Don't they let you test it out first when you buy it, though?

Nein~ unfortunately.

My Shuffle v2 has 1GB space but that's fine for me, I only listen to about half the songs on it anyway xD; It's tiny and can clip to anywhere.
