DOUBLE POSTAN GAEMS, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO-ONE HERE ANYWAY BUT BECAUSE I'M GOING AWAY TOO AND I JUST WANTED SOME ATTENTION

I'm going to Poland on Monday with my History class to do the Kazimierz/Auschwtz-Birkenau thing, and will probably be offline for the whole next fortnight due to that trip/mahoosive deadlines in all college subjects, BUT I WANT YOU TO KNOW I VISIT HERE EVERY WEEK IN THE HOPES THERE WILL BE ACTIVITY. Why did you leave, LN crew? Did those impetuous summer nights we shared really mean so little to you? :C

So uh yeah anyway. It's going to be pretty downbeat but I'm looking forward to coming away from it maybe with some new insight and some internal feelings laid to rest. See youse later. :jaja:

Poland is a hell of a lot nicer than I expected it to be.
I actually learned a fair bit at the Auschwitz visit, even though I already studied the topic at GCSE, and nothing compares to seeing everything in
real life. There's not many things in the world these days that can bring a bunch of modern teenagers together, but standing in a gas chamber is one of them. Holy shit.
I could write about it for hours but really it's no substitiute for seeing it yourself. I reckon everyone should go at least once.

And Polish food and vodka is hella good and hella cheap. Evening meals and drink for six people for £13? VERY YES. :jaja:
