lolnazis

lolnazis is not only a reunion of WWII nerds, we also have these cool banners up. We like to change them from time to time, with the theme of the season.
The banner can be done by any member of the community.
If you like to draw, draw us a pretty banner. If you don't know how to draw, post a caption or a drawing idea.

Here are a few criterions to follow:

x Size must be 700x200
x Keep the "lol" logo (currently seen on the left-hand side of the banner)
x Must include our mascot, Herr Laffen Auzlaut (ref here)
x Must include "lolnazis forum" + a catchy caption that matches the theme of the forum. You can take someone else's idea if you want to.
x Try to stay in the mood of the season (Winter, Spring, Easter, Beer festival...)

They're not hard criterions, so try your best to impress the community! I'll add a poll when there are enough entries so that everyone can vote for their favorite.
The winner gets... His/her banner on top of the page.

Try winter theme. no need to be incredibly original, just draw Herr Laffen skiing, drawing swastikas in the snow, or making a Hitler snowman or anything winter and nazi-related...

Ooh, I'd like to contribute. The winter connection might be a bit restrictive but I'll think of something.

I got mine done this minute because I have nothing else to do with my day today other than lurk the internet and snuffle into luxury tissues.

I fail at themed drawings but if it ever snowed in winter here anymore, this is what I'd do.
I have NO digital art applications whatsoever after a nasty incident involving my laptop and the eradication of eighty seperate viruses that ate 90% of my software. I usuallty sketch and ink all my crap in trad materials and colour and touch it up in photoshop, but now I have to do everything with pencils. I resized/added the logo in MSPaint, so if there's any size errors it's my fault and I fail at Paint. :C
I'm going to pretend I purposely made the text and edges all obviously pencil-marked as an artistic statement to make it appear harsh, gritty, artistic and dirty.
Much like ourselves amirite :B

Nice one! It does look a bit messy, but since it's the only entry we have so far it'll have to do.

Yes, anyone with spare time and a Photoshop facillity would be the recipient of much love and gratefulness.

I only realised today the viruses took my picture editing programs away. That'll teach me to use filesharing. I have to find a way to get a new copy...

If no-one else can do it, I *could* try and find a free moment to do it on a college computer sometime, but I'd rather not because renting a computer there costs money and I've already courted the college internet banhammer because the crazed prudish librarians disapprove of the Photography course allowing nude photos onto the system. Who knows what this might do to them?

Send over the file of the drawing and I'll do it from there.

Luckily I just got hold of a freeware programme called PaintNet that does pretty much what Photoshop does and I'll get it done over the weekend. Heaps thanks for the offer anyway, though, AP!

Ah, I like 'Gay For Hitler'. I think that's good. Your colouring is lovely and clean; I expect you have really good art software, but do you use a tablet? I'm thinking of investing in one, and maybe some proper art software, since laptop touchpads are hard to control, but I don't know anyone who has one to tell me about them. *technology illiterate*
